We are pleased to announce that Bento is now SOC 2 Type 2 compliant as determined by an audit completed by an accredited auditing firm. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers with integrity and are committed to ensuring the security of our customers' data.
What is SOC 2?
SOC 2 was developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and it defines criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust service principles”—security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. It is the gold standard for determining security compliance and operational effectiveness for SaaS applications that handle customer data.
What does it mean for you?
Bento enables teams to provide tailored guidance to their customers to improve activation and retention. Processing customer data is required to achieve a fully customized experience with Bento. SOC 2 compliance demonstrates our adherence to the highest standards of security and privacy in our products, services, and internal policies.
Our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance doesn't change the way we operate but rather gives our customers faster understanding of our processes. Our commitment to designing our systems and processes with privacy and security in mind starts with our culture. We follow the same standards of large SaaS companies and will continue to adapt them to fit the needs of our business and our customers.
